Check list in financing negotiations
Financing negotiations review the basic information and operations in general of your business, the financial situation, purpose of financing and collateral situation. It is advisable to provide the bank with full financial statement information already before financing negotiations.
If your business operations are already established and you need financing for a new investment, for example, it is a good idea to draw up an investment plan. The plan should show the changes to business operations, production, profitability and balance sheet position the investment would bring. You should also consider the collateral options related to financing the project and clarify the detailed information about collateral.
Profitability calculations and financing plans are also important for project success. They are also important to you and to us.
Prepare for financing negotiations:
- The most recent official financial statements
- The interim financial statements for the current accounting period if available
- The investment (project) plan or business idea and business plan
- Detailed information about the collateral provided
