Danske Bank Document Accessibility Statement
This accessibility statement applies to documents available in Danske Bank's online services and was updated on January 15, 2025. The service is subject to the law on the provision of digital services. This law requires that online services offered by public sector and financial industry entities be accessible. The requirement for documents only applies to content published after September 23, 2019. We have evaluated the accessibility of the documents ourselves.
Accessibility Status of the Documents
The documents do not fully meet all the requirements yet and partially meet the accessibility standards. This page lists the most significant issues we have identified. If you find any other accessibility issues in our documents, please give us feedback at accessibility@danskebank.fi.
Non-Accessible Content:
- 1.1.1 Non-text Content (A): Some images are missing a text option. If so, a screen reader will not be able to explain the image content. As well, the text option can be missing in tables, and other non-text content (content that is not text).
- 1.3.1 Info and Relationships (A): Screen readers and other assistive technologies can fail some relevant information regarding the structure of the content, including headers, pictures, texts, lists or tables, reasoning is that the technical name for fields are not defined properly.
- 1.3.2 Meaningful Sequence (A): Screen readers might jump incorrectly through some screens/documents as well for keyboard navigation.
- 1.3.4 Orientation (AA): Some screens are locked in horizontal display mode, while landscape orientation works on tablets. The user will discover the function might be missing.
- 1.4.1 Use of Colour (A): Use of colour can occur inappropriately, e.g., if visuals are expressed only by colours. People with colour deficiency might struggle to capture the information.
- 1.4.4 Resize Text (AA): Some screens are scalable, when a user zooms to 200%, some functionality or text might be lost. Settings on users' devices will not have expected results.
- 2.1.1 Keyboard (A): Not all functions can be accessed or executed by using a keyboard.
- 2.4.2 Page Titled (A): Not all screens/documents have titles that describe the topic or purpose sufficiently. Therefore, it can be challenging to determine what the screen/document is regarding.
- 2.4.3 Focus Order (A): Keyboard users might experience the navigation sequence in an illogical order.
- 2.4.4 Link Purpose (In Context) (A): Some links can have ambiguous explanations and/or are missing a text alternative used by screen readers. The user can have difficulties understanding what the link precisely leads to.
- 2.4.6 Headings and Labels (AA): Not all fields and headings are descriptive enough, which makes it harder to understand.
- 3.1.1 Language of Page (A): Screens/documents might lack a correct language setting. Assistive technologies, like screen readers, might not be able to automatically detect the language of the screen/document, and read aloud can be a less satisfying result.
- 3.1.2 Language of Parts (AA): Screens/documents might lack a correct language setting on parts where language changes from the main part. Assistive technologies, like screen readers, might not be able to automatically detect the language.
- 4.1.2 Name, Role, Value (A): Definitions of fields are sometimes missing correct set-up - which can result in partly missing functionality of assistive technologies.
