Mobile Bank Accessibility Statement

This accessibility statement applies to Danske Bank's Mobile Banking app and was last updated on January 13, 2025. The service must comply with the law on the provision of digital and mobile services, which mandates that services offered by public and financial sectors be accessible. An external expert organization has assisted in evaluating the accessibility of this service.

Accessibility Status of the Site

The service is not fully compliant with all accessibility standards and only partially meets the required accessibility guidelines. Non-Accessible Content:

  • 1.3.4 Orientation (AA): Some screens are locked in horizontal mode, although tablets support landscape orientation. This may result in missing functionalities.
  • 1.3.2 Meaningful Sequence (A): Screen readers might jump incorrectly through some screens/documents as well for keyboard navigation.

  • 1.4.4 Resize Text (AA): Some screens can be scaled, but when the view is enlarged to 200%, some elements or texts may disappear. The device settings might not deliver expected results.
  • 2.1.1 Keyboard (A): Not all functionalities are accessible or executable via a keyboard.
  • 2.1.2 No Keyboard Trap (A): Keyboard users might find themselves trapped in a field where they cannot move forward or backward without using a mouse.
  • 2.4.3 Focus Order (A): Keyboard users might experience the navigation sequence in an illogical order.
  • 2.4.4 Link Purpose (In Context) (A): Some link can have ambiguous explanations and/or missing a text alternative used by screen readers. The user can have difficulties understanding what the link precisely leads too.
  • 2.4.7 Focus Visible (AA): There might be a lack of visible "outlines" on input fields to show where the focus or cursor is, making it difficult for keyboard users to locate the cursor.
  • 2.5.1 Pointer Gestures (A): Not all functionality that can be operated through a motion gesture is operable by user interface components.
