It’s important to us that our customers can do their banking securely in our digital services. We’re constantly developing the security of our digital services to prevent unauthorised access to our customers' data.

All our customers using mobile banking will be required to start using a new 6-digit PIN code to log in to and to confirm some orders in Mobile Bank. The change will take place in the near future.

Setting up a new PIN code is quick and easy

We've made it easy for you to set up your new PIN code.

When you log in to Mobile Bank for the first time after the update, we’ll first ask you to identify yourself with your Danske ID app or code calculator and then to create a new 6-digit PIN code of your choice.

After you’ve set up your new PIN code, you can use fingerprint and facial recognition as usual.

At the same time, you can also give your consent to the collection of usage data. This data is used to improve your Mobile Bank user experience.

Please note that the update applies only to Mobile Bank and does not affect logging in to eBanking, use of the Danske ID App, confirming online purchases or to identification to log in to other services such as Tax Administration, Kela or Mykanta.

3 different ways to confirm orders in Mobile Bank

In future, payments, orders and agreements made in Mobile Bank will be confirmed by using one of the following ways:

  1. swiping the authorise or confirm function
  2. the 6-digit PIN code or by using fingerprint or facial recognition
  3. using the Danske ID App or code calculator

Mobile Bank’s different functionalities will always guide you to the right way of confirmation.

Manage the devices on which you use Mobile Bank

You can use Mobile Bank on three different devices.

Go the Mobile Bank, select Menu > Registered devices to see the devices on which you have set up Mobile Bank. If you no longer wish to use Mobile Bank on a device, you can remove it yourself.

If you’ve activated Mobile Bank notifications, you’ll receive a message when Mobile Bank has been set up on a new device. You can activate notifications either when you set up your new PIN code or later in your device settings.
